The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) requires certain certifications and training to ensure the safety of children and volunteers, and to help coaches understand AYSO’s philosophies and risk management practices.
Required for All Adult Volunteers
All volunteers must have their own account at www.ayso75.org with a unique email address.

California AB 506 requires all youth sports volunteers to complete a Live Scan.

Live Scans are not transferable; you must complete one specifically for AYSO.

Registering a New Youth Volunteer
A Youth Volunteer must have an email address not previously used in Sports Connect (SSO uses email as the username).
Youth Volunteers:

Not required to complete Risk Management or Live Scan until age 18.

Must complete: Safe Haven, CDC Concussion, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest certifications.

May not supervise other minors alone.
