COACH Training:

AYSO REGION 75 COACH TRAINING REQUIREMENTS 2010

***No coach will receive a roster until he has completed and turned into the CVPA, a current year volunteer application.

No coach can begin practice until they are safe haven certified.  
A coach may obtain on-line certification for Safe Haven, or in-person.
Online training is available, with an AYSO ID number at http://www.aysotraining.org/ 
In person dates will be:
8/6/2010  at 7:00 pm   - Whittier Shed
8/7/2010 at 8:00 am    - Whittier Shed
8/7/2010                         - Garden Grove
8/27/2010  at 7:00 pm - Whittier Shed
8/28/2010 at 8:00 am  - Whittier Shed

No U6/U8/U10 coach can receive uniforms (nor can the team play any game) until they are Coach Certified for the appropriate age group.
U6 Certification can be done online or in person
Online training is available, with an AYSO ID number at http://www.aysotraining.org/
In person dates will be:
7/17/2010                        - Cypress U6/U8/U10/U12
7/24/2010                          - Garden Grove U6/U8/U10/U12
8/6/2010 at 6:00 pm     - Whittier Shed (followed by Safe Haven)
8/27/2010 at 6:00 pm  - Whittier Shed (followed by Safe Haven)

U8/U10 Certification can be done online or in person.  Online certification will not be accepted for U10 All-Star coaches.

In person dates will be:
7/17/2010                        - Cypress U6/U8/U10/U12
7/24/2010                          - Garden Grove U6/U8/U10/U12
8/7/2010 at 10:00 am   - Whittier Shed (following the Safe Have program)
8/28/2010 at 10:00 am - Whittier Shed (following the Safe Have program)

In order to obtain online training, you will need to be registered with eayso. 
If you are not yet registered with eayso, you will need to obtain your AYSO ID from the CVPA – Kelli Streeter or from the Coach Administrator, Ralph Rodriguez.

U12 Coaches are to be U12 certified.  Any coach of a U12 team playing outside the region must be U12 Certified, or the team will not play,
including Playoffs and All-Stars without exception. U12 Certification can only be done in person.

8/7/2010                        - Garden Grove
8/14/2010 at 8:00 am - Whittier Field
8/14/2010                      - Garden Grove

U14 Coaches are to be Intermediate certified. 
Intermediate Coach Certification can only be done in person (2 days).
In person dates will be:
8/13/2010                     - Garden Grove

U16 & U19 Coaches are to be Advanced certified
Advanced Coach Certification can only be done in person (2 days).  One year must elapse since Intermediate Certification.
In person dates will be:
7/30/2010                    - Cypress

Regional Coach Administrator Ralph Rodriguez and Regional Commissioner Mike Sasso must both approve any deviations to the above training requirements.
