VSA Coaches Do Soccer Sessions in Waukee PE Classes
Directors of Coaching, Chris McGill and Victor Valderrama, as well as Ginger Parson-McGill, Joe Kipnusu, and Sohn Wallace have visited 4 of the 6 Waukee Elementary schools in the last couple of weeks. The remaining 2 will receive visits in early November. They have taught the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade soccer dribbling component of the school's physical education classes. Each class has received 2 - 45 minute sessions with one of VSA's pro coaches. Each student received a water bottle for participating in the program. The VSA staff will impact over 1800 students during this outreach.
